About Lainey

I am a female member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a survivor of spousal sexual and pornography addiction, insidious emotional abuse, as well as betrayal trauma. I recently ended my twenty-nine-year temple marriage to a narcissist. I volunteer as a trained betrayal trauma mentor, supporting women after their own unfathomable “D-Day” discovery. I have found through my recovery journey that there are masses who suffer in isolation. Sexual betrayal is an intensely personal subject, steeped in shame. Many frightened and heartbroken spouses are hiding their truth and embracing the false Satanic lie that they are the only one who has encountered this problem and that no one would ever understand. This is not true. The numbers of people in the same situation are staggering. This is the plague of our time. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! This site was created to nurture a respectful place where sufferers of betrayal trauma can land and share thoughts, fear, and hopes.
